The most important thing for Elsa, the owner, was to create products that are as conscious as possible, that is to say that are Natural, Vegan & Ecological, but that reflect her personality and her passions. Naturally, the result was products that were very different from what was on the natural cosmetics market when she started working in the field. We are proud to say that our products are Natural, but that they give the impression of being "Chemical/Synthetic", which is what was missing in the field: Natural cosmetics that look like "Conventional" cosmetics! When we are told that our Grape smell, for example, smells like "Chemical" Grape, we know that we have accomplished our Mission since we know that it is actually organic haha!
The paradox of offering Natural Cosmetics that seems Chemical at first sight expresses all the essence of Caramel Roze: Having the courage to go beyond the norm through the use of creativity, to create a new Universe of our own & that makes us Dream.

Elsa was a Soap Workshop Animator in Montreal, where she learned to make soaps with the Melt n' Pour! method. One day she brought her mother to do a workshop with her on Mother's Day. After the activity, they went to buy a snack at Herbivores, a 100% Vegan grocery store that was a minute away from where she worked. When they arrived, soaps in hand, one of the owners of Herbivores was completely hooked on the aesthetics of the soaps; he asked her if he could sell them at his market. She told him that she didn't sell them, that she made them for pleasure. The owner replied that he didn't care, that he wanted them in his grocery store! So Elsa said, "Okay, I'm going to start my own company haha! ».
On August 17, 2017, she went to carry her first delivery of 14 soaps: 7 in the shape of doughnuts & 7 in the shape of pies, which you see in the picture on the left.
She started her business with a budget of 50$, including 10$ that were given to her!
Yeah, she really didn't know what she was getting into haha...!
Elsa studied Interior Design & Visual Merchandise, but her student job as a Biocosmetician made her fall in love with the field of Natural Cosmetics. This experience inspired her to create her own cosmetics company. The colourful & unique essence of the company is simply a reflection of Elsa's personality.

Our WareHouse is located on the North Shore of Montreal, Quebec (Canada). Our team is composed of a dozen employees who take care of the preparation of orders. As for our customer service department, it is made up of two managers who make sure to answer our customers' questions. We also have a management team made up of the owner of the company, the Manager & her assistant who ensure the smooth running of the company on a daily basis, as well as a marketing department made up of a person in charge who deals with requests for collaborations & medias. At first, all the products were created & manufactured by Elsa, now due to the great demand, all the production is made in Sainte-Thérèse by Miladi Cosmetics @miladicosmetics
